MYOFASCIAL RELEASE

Myofascial Release, a hands on technique providing sustained pressure into myofascial restrictions to eliminate pain, headaches and restore motion is offered by Registered Nurse Debbie Kingma. Debbie is a licensed massage therapist and skilled practitioner of Myofascial Release. She completed her training at the John F. Barnes, P.T. Sedona, Arizona Treatment Center.

Fascia, a flexible connective tissue, lines and covers nearly the entire body from head to toe and offers support to muscles, nerves, bones, arteries and internal organs. Trama or injury to the body can cause the fascia to become tight and tense, resulting in pain, restriction of motion and headaches. Myofascial Release is the application of sustained pressure to release restriction of the fascial layer, decreasing pain and improving movement, flexibility, balance, daily functionality and athletic performance.
