ABOUT MATWORKZ

MatWorkz was established in 1999 with the goal of helping clients to cultivate mind/body awareness through movement. To achieve this goal, instructors develop appropriate exercise protocols that meet clients’ individual needs and improve their overall health.

MatWorkz was the first Pilates studio in Central Florida to offer mat classes as well as private/duet lessons. In 2004, it began offering the Gyrotonic Expansion System^®, taught by certified instructor and studio owner Deborah Watson. It remains the only studio in the area to offer the method.
